Goomzee and ReachFactor Partner to Help Agents Win More Profitable Business, Faster

Connecticut Statewide MLS Agents Go Mobile With Goomzee

Tarasoft And Goomzee Integrate Via Single Sign-On (SSO)

Goomzee Reaches 10% of America’s REALTORS Adding CRMLS’ 33,000 Customers

Goomzee Awarded Grant Funding For Job Creation

MISSOULA, MT: The Montana Department of Commerce has announced a $120,000 award from the Big Sky Economic Development Trust Fund Program to assist a high-tech Missoula-grown company with expenses related to the creation of 16 new good-paying jobs.

Colorado Real Estate Network Chooses Goomzee For Mobile

Montrose, Colorado – January 20, 2010 – Home buyers in Colorado will soon be able to receive for-sale home pricing information, and photos, sent directly to their phone using text messaging (SMS) thanks to Goomzee.  The Colorado Real Estate Network (CREN) recently joined the growing number of REALTOR® associations, multiple listing services (MLS), brokerages and real estate agents choosing Montana’s Goomzee http://www.goomzee.com as their text message marketing solution provider.

Inman Connect New York City

Mobile World Cup Text Message Champion

Leave it to the CEO of a text message advertising company to find the Mobile World Cup text messaging champion while attending real estate technology conference in New York City.  After taking in a day’s worth of business meetings I hopped in one of the cool elevators at the Marriott Marquis Times Square and just before the doors closed, a couple young people squeezed in the elevator.  I couldn’t help but notice the 4-foot cardboard check in the girl’s hands and learned it was a $100,000 check for winning a text messaging competition sponsored by LG, called the Mobile World Cup.

She and her companion were from Korea and in town for the competition.  There were various “games” or “events” and for her victorious thumb play, she walked away with a cool $100,000 – hopefully that will pay her parents back for all the mobile phone charges for a while.  Now I’m kicking myself, because I could have timed her while she texted one of Goomzee’s text message campaigns and we could advertise how fast buyers receive info on their cell phone – in milliseconds!

The real reason for my trip is to meet business associates who are also attending the Inman Connect NYC real estate technology conference.  It’s been fun, as always, to spend time with friends and fellow “road warriors” at one of the first events of the year.  A lot of the topics of discussion are the same as the NAR conference in San Diego including RPR, future of MLS, what Google has up its sleeve and more.  Industry veteran, Greg Robertson, unveiled his new project, Cloud CMA, which has received a great response and there are some more social network startups making their debut.

Conference aside, I was able to enjoy one of my favorite hotels and of course New York City.  Even if you aren’t staying here, I would recommend anyone who’s strolling around Times Square to walk into the Marriott Marquis hotel and take the elevators to the 8th floor (lobby and food area).  The elevators are organized in a circle and you punch in your desired floor as you walk into the elevator area and the keypad tells you which elevator to wait for.  You step in and are whisked away to your destination.

The outer elevators are glass and you can view the floors, workout facility, etc. zipping by.  From the 8th floor, if you walk to the food court area (Atrium lounge), just look up and you’ll see the massive tower in the middle of the hotel that sports futuristic “pods” that are “flying” up and down the column.  If you have access, there is an executive lounge on the 30th floor with a great view, or you can stop on the 3rd floor and take a private elevator up the the View restaurant, overlooking Manhattan.

After “playing” online and resting my feet in my room, I jumped in one of the “pods” to head down to the street level and search for a quick meal.  The night before I’d already met up with local friends and had some great drinks at Thalia, then some Spanish food (one of the best Enchiladas ever) on 50th at 8th Ave.  This my last night in NYC I wanted what this city is known for, pizza!  I walked out onto Broadway and guess who was walking my way with a crowd of tourists following; none other than the Naked Cowboy.  He must know I’m from Montana and decided to serenade my stroll down Broadway.  Of course being a tourist myself, I decided to take my obligatory cell phone photo and carry on my trek for some NYC pizza.

Mission accomplished!  I found a pizza shop and bought three slices, all different kinds and styles.  Yum!  Now I’m all charged up for my final day of mingling, then back on the plane to Montana.  It’s going to be a very busy quarter and so far, it’s started off great.  Kudos to Brad and Don at Inman for yet another successful event.
